Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival & Transfer to Kitulgala
Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, meet your private guide-driver and transfer to the rainforest hamlet of Kitulgala. Settle in and enjoy a relaxing dinner by the river.
Day 2 Whitewater Rafting & Canyoning
Spend the morning whitewater rafting down the Kelani River. After lunch, enjoy confidence jumps and sliding down natural rock pools inside the canyon.
Day 3 Scenic Drive to Ella & Hiking Little Adam's Peak
Travel to Ella, a picturesque town nestled in tea estates. In the evening, take a leisurely hike up Little Adam's Peak for stunning sunset views of the Ella Gap.
Day 4 Nine Arch Bridge & Ella Rock Hike
Walk along the historic Nine Arch railway bridge. Later, embark on a challenging but rewarding trek to the summit of Ella Rock for panoramic mountain views.
Day 5 Knuckles Mountain Range Trekking
Drive north to the Knuckles Range (UNESCO heritage site). Trek through dense cloud forests, cascading waterfalls, and isolated farming villages.
Day 6 Adam's Peak Base Prep
Travel to Nallathanniya at the base of Sri Pada (Adam's Peak). Rest during the afternoon to prepare for the midnight ascent.
Day 7 Midnight Climb of Adam's Peak & Sunrise
Begin the climb at midnight (5500 steps). Reach the summit in time to witness the legendary shadow phenomenon and spectacular sunrise. Return to base, rest, and transfer to Nuwara Eliya.
Day 8 Horton Plains National Park Hike
Early morning hike to World's End, a dramatic 870m sheer drop. Walk through montane grasslands to see Baker's Falls. Evening walk around Lake Gregory.
Day 9 Departure via Colombo
Drive back to Colombo for a brief city tour and last-minute souvenir shopping before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
